WHAT IS JEUVEAU?
Jeuveau is a botulinum toxin type A injection used in the treatment of wrinkles. It’s also sometimes called the new Botox or “Newtox” for short because it’s a new version of the same active ingredient used in original Botox Cosmetic injections.
While Jeuveau shares some similarities with Botox, there are key characteristics that make this injection stand apart from other botulinum toxin injections.
Jeuveau is a better fit for certain types of facial wrinkles compared to Botox— all at a slightly cheaper price.

WHAT IS XEOMIN?
Xeomin injection is a simple treatment procedure performed in about 10 minutes that provides a more youthful appearance by temporary eliminating forehead lines and wrinkles, frown lines, and crow’s feet wrinkles.
Xeomin is another form of botulinum toxin type A (incobotuinumtoxinA) that is very similar to Botox but better! Unlike Botox, Xeomin is manufactured through a unique and precise process that isolates the botulinum toxin molecule and removes all extra surrounding proteins.
HOW IT WORK?
Before receiving Jeuveau injections for frown lines, you will need to have a consultation with a medical provider. They will determine how many injections you need, as well as which specific areas of your face to treat.
At your consultation, you can discuss the benefits and risks of your treatment. This is also a good opportunity to obtain the full estimated costs and to set up a payment plan, if needed.
While Jeuveau doesn’t require any downtime, you may decide to take the day off from work, so you don’t feel rushed at your appointment.
During your consultation, your provider will outline a plan they will implement during your treatment session. The procedure for Jeuveau usually consists of the following:
Your provider will wipe off any makeup or other cosmetics covering the area of treatment.
Next, they will inject Jeuveau into five sites around your frown lines, using several small injections.
The process takes up to 15 mins. Once the injections are completed, you’re free to leave with no owntime required.
As the botulinum toxin takes hold, your underlying muscles will relax and create a smoother appearance in your frown lines. You may start noticing slight results right away, with full results developing in about a week.
